I am not getting a rabbit however i have a question about their housing?

Should you let them roam around your hose and litter train them?(which i know you can do) or put them in a cage and let them out?I am not getting a rabbit however i have a question about their housing?
try getting a folding run that you can put over and around the cage when your out so the rabbit can only play in that area. try get the biggest one you can. and put some toys in there so he/she dont get bored. not only that they can get there food and water to when neededI am not getting a rabbit however i have a question about their housing?
I've never quite understood how people can have house rabbits in the way that they can have cats and dogs. I have a rabbit that I keep in the house, but he lives in his cage and comes out for a run around. If he were left to his own devices like a dog can be, he'd destroy the carpet through trying to dig it up with his claws, and eat all the wires and electrocute himself.

Pooing is the least of your worries with a house rabbit who has free roam all the time ! It's easy to litter train, but as for electric cables, carpets, possibly poisonous houseplants, and everything else they might possibly try eating, I'd also worry about opening an outside door in case he got out and ran away.

So yeh, after that long-winded explanation, I would say they should definitely have a cage and be let out only when you can fully supervise.
First, you should both litter train it and put it in it's cage. Then at playtime when its time for daily exercise you must bunny-proof your home, then get an exercise pen for the bunny and put it in there for a few minutes then you could let it roam the house and play with her, bond, have fun !

Having them in a cage and letting them out would be the best option unless your house has no wires (can be chewed on and cause electrocution) whatsoever.
you probally shouldn't keep it out all the time but it is good to let it sometimes.

hope it helps! : )
cage at night

roam during the day

don't want any accidents do we?
