If the rabbit will stay inside, the cage will cost anywhere from $50 to $115. If you are going to take him out and play often, he doesn't need a super expensive and large cage. Rabbit water bottles can actually cost like $5-$10, but they drink a LOT. The bedding will also run about $6 a month.


They'll always need hay in their cage, which will cost about $4 a month, and food probably $8 every month and a half or two.


Treats can run cheap, they only really need them to keep their teeth down. That will only cost about $5 a month.


Bunnies also need their nails trimmed and fur brushed. Another $4 or so.


So in all, about $110 at first, and $25/month or so for upkeep.
Depends on how spoiled and committed you are...My female bunny has over $4,000.00 invested in her in just cages and play pens NOT counting food and vet bills. Other than yogurt treats-treats are bad for rabbits-you need fresh fruit and fresh greens and Unlimited hay and pellets. NOT treat pellets!!!!!!!!!! Fresh water even in bottles. Lots of time to bond/love the rabbit. My bunny has been syringe fed for almost 2 years-was in the hospital 5 days after the loss of our family dog-again-commitment for the rabbit is a HAVE TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i spent - 30 dollars on food, i got a 10 kg bag of rabbit food pellets, then got carrots, celery, broccoli from the supermarket, so that was cheap.


you don't need treats, use apples, oranges.


cages - build one, or go on ebay, trade me to because ex bunny owners will sell there cages cheap.

well i have 3 rabbits 2 girls 1 boy both girls are pregnant they will eat lot so we buy 2 bag of rabbit food they cost us 8.00 dollars +taxes for each one of them i buy them at pet-co i never took mines to i vent to get them check so im not sure but if u adopt them they i think they will check them for u they will make you sing some papers to make sure you don't get the rabbit to eat it.

Well as for food, get all your veg from the reduced isle of the shop and as for everything else, I don't know, sorry, hope you get your rabbit and it is cheap to keep
