How much wood can a rabbit eat?

My rabbits love fresh apple tree twigs and sticks, but they eat them pretty fast then move on to the wood of their cages. Could I place some thicker sticks in their cages that will last them longer? Is it unhealthy for them to be eating them every day?How much wood can a rabbit eat?
As long as the trees are not treated with chemicals or pesticides and they are still eating their pellets then it is fine. Rabbits have open rooted incisors meaning their teeth never stop growing so they chew wood to keep them short. How much wood can a rabbit eat?
you can give him apples from the nature but from store you must really goodly wash because there are chemicals that are sprayed on the apples to keep bugs away .

and yes you can feed your rabbit as much as he want the only thing is he must eat naturwood not colored and with chemicels!!!!
No it's absolutely fine, my rabbits have practically knawed our whole apple tree haha :)
