I want to put him in my bedroom or by the front window is that safe for him? I live in new england so we don't have that much sun, but I don't know if that is safe for him.Where should I keep my rabbit in my house?
That sounds perfectly fine!! Just make sure the window is sealed well so there are no drafts on him in the winter. If you have any doubts, just roll up a towel and stick it along the edges.
Also watch him for over heating in the summer. Rabbits can get heatstroke in temperatures in excess of 80潞F. Just watch for lethargy, panting, and other signs of discomfort. If he is to hot, wet his ears with some cool water out of a spray bottle, and/or give him a bottle of ice to lay next to.
I doubt, however, that you will have much issues with heat, unless he is in direct sun while the window is closed and there is no a/c.Where should I keep my rabbit in my house?
I would keep mine in my room.
Anywhere is pretty much ok! Just make sure your rabbit won't chew any electrical cords or house plants! Rabbits usually chew anything they can get their teeth on. Rabbits don't really need sun, so it's pretty easy to find a spot for a rabbit.
a rabbit should not be kept in the house at all.
instead make or buy a rabbit hutch and put him in the garden.also invest in a rabbit run so he can have some exercise.a rabbits natural habitat is the great outdoors not cooped up in a dingy room
its perfectly safe
