Can I give my rabbit willow branches to chew?

I just got a rabbit and I want to give her something to chew. I know they like fruit tree branches but all I have in my yard are African willows. Are those branches ok or should my bunny just wait until I can get to the store and get her some chewy toys? Can I give my rabbit willow branches to chew?
You do not have to spend big bucks (money) for chew toys for rabbits. You can go to the lumber or home improvement store and buy an untreated 2X4 and cut it into 3 inch pieces, they will even do it for you at the store.

Dried, untreated apple or willow branches are safe for them to chew on, and are essential for wearing down their teeth. Organic willow and apple branches are available in the Rabbit Rescue shop section.
