Why does my male rabbit attack and bite my male pup of 5 months old?

We bought a male cavalier pup some weeks ago he is 5 months old and totally soft.


Our male rabbit of 12 months has taken a dislike to him and actually searches for him, runs at him, pins him down and then bites the poor pup all over! The dog is now scared of the rabbit!Why does my male rabbit attack and bite my male pup of 5 months old?

male rabbits see other animals as rabbits. it's a domination thing.They are often like this and the dog needs to be protected form it or it may infect the dog with a virus or bacteria
Because its scared and intimidated. My male rabbit and my male puppy use to lay down together and just relax but your rabbit is obviously scared of your puppy. Try and just hold your bunny near your puppy and see how it reacts. Do it step by step as it might scare your rabbit.
rabbit are being hunted in the wild by dogs so they naturally scared so take time to introduce each other
